What Can I Expect at Cedar Mountain Center?
When you first arrive, you will be admitted through our walk-in evaluation
clinic. This service consists of a computer survey and a structured interview
process to confirm substance use disorder diagnosis and determine what
treatment(s) you may need. Our treatment services are medically approved
through most insurance companies.
A written summary of the results and recommendations are provided to you
and/or a referring agent. There is no appointment necessary for this service,
and the clinic is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Thursday.

integrated system of care
Individualized treatment plans that residents have an active role in creating
Case management with referral to aftercare services

Ready access to medical services as needed
Medication-Assisted Treatment: Suboxone
Medication-assisted treatment refers to the use of medications in combination
with counseling and behavioral therapies, in order to provide a whole-patient
approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Medications are
used to help residents through detox, withdrawal symptoms, and more.
Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders
Co-occurring psychiatric disorders are common among those with alcohol
and drug dependency. By treating addiction and co-occurring disorders
simultaneously, treatment outcomes are enhanced, and long-term sobriety
is more effectively achieved.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
DBT is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy. Cognitive
behavioral therapy aims to identify and change negative thinking patterns, and pushes for
positive behavioral changes. DBT skills are helpful with most mental health
and substance use diagnoses.
DUI Education
This service is provided to those who have experienced an alcohol- or drug-related
legal offense. This eight-hour course is designed to educate participants
on the consequences of drinking and driving, physical/medical considerations,
and the social and family dynamics of drinking. Videos and individual/group
